Youth

I am thrilled with all that God is doing in and through the youth ministry of FBC Herrin. This past summer has been one of the greatest of my life. I am so privileged and honored to be involved in the lives of these students. I can tell you without  reservation that they love the Lord and that their devotion to Him is not an act or simply something else to add to their schedules- it is genuine. As you look through these pages of information regarding upcoming events and opportunities, don’t get so caught up in the program that you miss what we’re all about. This is all about Jesus Christ. Our primary reason for existing is to show the world that Jesus is Lord and that a relationship with Him can be the most fulfilling part of your life.

If you are a student reading this information, I want you to know that you are welcome here in our youth group. Please come and join us in any of the weekly events or in any of the special events that are scheduled. I also want you to know that I’d love to talk with you one on one, whether it be through e-mail, in my home or yours, in the office, at school, on an internet messenger (I’m on msn, aol, or yahoo),  or wherever. Please contact me if you’d like to talk about anything that’s on your heart. If you have questions about becoming a Christian or just need someone who will listen to you, I’d love to help in any way.
